Day 1

​

Start the day with a delicious brunch at Lot 11 (SAT NAV- LL11 1SN) www.lot11wxm.co.uk.  

 

Parking is available at the Island Green shopping centre (SAT NAV – LL13 7LW) from £1.30 per hour.

            

Head to Bangor on Dee for a spot of racing (subject to dates) using the frequent free bus from Wrexham general station. Always check the Bangor on Dee website for race times and fixtures:  www.bangorondeeraces.co.uk

After an afternoon of racing head back to town to refuel with an evening meal at The Lemon Tree Restaurant (SAT NAV- LL11 2LF). Open daily, this is a perfect place to re-charge your batteries (and your phone), enjoy a lovely locally sourced meal or afternoon tea sitting within a stunning grade II listed neo-gothic building.

Day 2

​

After a hearty breakfast head to One Planet Adventure, Llandegla  (SAT NAV - LL11 3AA) and hire a mountain bike for the day and explore the stunning countryside along one of their many tracks. It has an excellent café on site a great place for lunch before you get on the bike!

*Top Tip – sensible clothing and footwear. Protective gear can be hired.

Duration – minimum 2 hrs will be needed

*A must – You will be asked to fill out a disclaimer form and provide us a current form of photo ID, either a drivers’ licence or a passport. Without this YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE BIKE OUT. We also require a current utility bill which displays the same address as your driver’s licence.

Whether on foot or on two wheels, Oneplanet Adventure provides the perfect opportunity for action and adventure in the great outdoors. If it’s a peaceful family walk on one of the way marked footpaths or an adrenalin fuelled blast around some of the best man made mountain bike trails in the UK!

*Top Tip– for this activity, ensure you bring a towel and change of clothing incase you get wet and old shoes to wear in the canoe. Bring a picnic to enjoy by the water’s edge.

 In the afternoon hire a canoe from TNR Coaching (SAT NAV – LL20 8AD), head off from Llangollen and explore the stunning canal waterways on the Aqueduct tour. Your instructors will ensure you get the best from this experience and full briefings are provided.
