CAFFI CYFLE & VENUE IN THE PARK AT ALYN WATERS

 

Located three miles north of Wrexham, Caffi Cyfle and Venue in the Park are set in the beautiful surroundings of Alyn Waters Country Park.

 

Caffi Cyfle is situated at Alyn Waters Country park and is the ideal place to grab a bite to eat in the local area. Offering hot food, light bites, daily specials, hot drinks and mostly importantly homemade local cake! Caffi Cyfle also have a great breakfast menu, specific children’s and can cater for all dietary requirements.

 

By supporting the café you are supporting the lives of individuals with all abilities through the inhouse work and volunteering programme we run.

 

The site at Alyn Waters also boasts a purpose-built function space which benefits from beautiful views into the park. A large fully equipped function space with free wi-fi which can accommodate up to 75 people theatre style.

 

Set in 400 acres of woodland, Venue in the Park provides a perfect setting for those looking to host strategy days, board meetings, corporate events, training, team building, networking and private events or just for those wanting to get away from the office and enjoy time to think clearly in a stress free natural environment.

MINERA LEAD MINES  

 

Thanks to funding from a National Lottery grant we have re-opened  Minera Lead Mines near Wrexham as an exciting visitor attraction and outdoor events space. An exciting programme of activities for all ages and abilities will be run during school holidays. 

 

​The lead mines offer a fascinating glimpse into the industrial past of the beautiful Clywedog Valley and visitors can explore the country park seeing remains of the lead processing areas from the 18th and 19th centuries, the restored beam engine house, winding engine and boiler houses. There is also a visitor centre that tells the story of the site plus a country park covering 53 acres of grassland, wooded areas and archaeological sites.

Please note the Visitors Centre and toilets are closed for the winter season. You can still access the carpark (free of charge) and take advantage of the walks in the beautiful Clywedog Valley.
