MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

Our 2023/24 Membership window for tourism businesses within Wrexham County Borough has closed for 2023-24, but will reopen again later in 2024! 

​

By becoming a 'This Is Wrexham' business member you will join over 70 local hotels, restaurants and attractions in the County - plus we'll help position your business to welcome the ever increasing amount of visitors coming into our area.  

 

We're the official Destination Management & Marketing partnership run by tourism businesses in Wrexham County for the good of the visitor experience, jobs, skills development and supporting local food & drink producers in the our area.

 

We will help drive your products forward, grow your social media, give you some impressive imagery, work with your staff to develop a great welcome and offer opportunities for you to learn from others, make great local connections and be inspired by visiting other leading destinations!

In return, we have affordable membership fees whilst we also ask that you are committed to championing Wrexham County Borough as a great place to visit, eat and stay, along with supporting local producers and maintaining great customer service!

As well as featuring on the website, you will receive many benefits including;

​

  • Regular tourism networking events

  • Feature on our Countywide and City Centre tourism map 

  • Photos & editorial once within a 12-month period

  • Help with your PR / Marketing 

  • Regular social media postings on our channels 

  • Opportunity to feed directly into the Visit Wales regional team

  • Promotion within our Visitor Information Centre!

 

You MUST fit into this criteria too;

  • Be an accommodation provider with a quality rating (Visit Wales, AA etc...)

  • If serving food - have achieved a current 4* + hygiene rating or higher

  • Primarily be a destination eatery / pub with an ethos for fresh, local produce

  • Be a visitor attraction, consistently open more than 5-days per week, for more than 7-hours. 

  • Have at least 50% of your workforce or volunteers become a "bronze" This is Wrexham ambassador within 3-months of joining.

  • Other - if your core business is around attracting inward tourism into Wrexham County Borough.
