Erddig Hall & Gardens

Erddig lies just on the outskirts of Wrexham Town Centre and is the former home of the Squire Yorke and today managed by the National Trust.

The people of Wrexham have strong ties to Erddig - most know, or knew of someone who had dealings with the estate as far back as the 70's and it retains a special place in the heart of many people.

There is a lot of national interest in the house too - with the original servants quarters still in place and a unique story of the exceptional treatment of the servants by the Yorke family.

Today, the National Trust welcome coaches from all over the UK to Erddig and stage popular large-scale events such as the Apple Festival each Autumn and their ever popular Christmas programme.
