Day 1

 

Glyn Wylfa for coffee and cake (30 mins).

 

Drive down Glyn Ceiriog valley (allow time to stop and take photos, as this is a really scenic drive). Park at Llanarmon DC Village and take one of the several routes as displayed on the app. Allow 2-3 hours.

Day 2

 

After a very filling Welsh Breakfast - *Top Tip make sure you go for the ‘Full’ Cooked breakfast, you will need it today! 

 

Follow the upper Ceiriog trail (5hrs or 2 hrs cycling), shorter options are available. Ensure to take a packed lunch prepared by West Arms with you; just ask reception night before to order.

Visit the Heritage steam railway in Llangollen and enjoy lunch at either the Three Eagles, Llangollen (www.thethreeeagles.co.uk) or Wild Pheasant Hotel and Spa, Llangollen  www.wildpheasanthotel.co.uk

 

Return to the West Arms and relax in front of the fire with a glass of your favourite wine (or Gin, they have a great selection of Gins)
