Day 1

*Top tips; Best to pre book these activities in advance and to check if matches or racing is on during your stay. Sensible shoes and comfortable clothing are best.  Charge up your phone as there will be lots of photo opportunities today! 

 

Begin the day with a round of golf at the Plassey Holiday Park (SAT NAV– LL13 0SP) – a 9 hole golf course, can arrive on the day or book a tee time in advance. All clubs provided with balls (extra charge will be incurred)

• Bangor on Dee Race Course www.bangorondeeraces.co.uk – first race at 2pm (approx. from £20 for a paddock ticket) Duration4hrs

• The Race Course Stadium, Wrexham www.wrexhamafc.co.ukto watch a Wrexham FC home game (approx. from £20 per person) or a pint in the Turf if you can't get a ticket! Duration 2 hrs

 

Day 2 ​

Distance– 9.3 miles by car (via B5069)

 

Head to Wrexham County, spend the morning fishing at Common Wood Fishery, Holt (SAT NAV– LL13 9TF). This is also a great place for lunch.  All equipment is provided. 

 

Duration- approx. 2hrs.
