Start the day with a Segtrekexperience located at Chirk Castle (SAT NAV– LL14 5AF), 2 miles of ‘segtreking’ fun around the woodlands of Chirk Castle. Full instruction briefing provided!

Next, enjoy a 45 minute walk across the 126ft tall Pontcysyllte Aqueduct from the Trevor Basin (SAT NAV -LL20 7TG, follow long-stay car park signs from the A539). This site is part of a World Heritage Site, over 30 thrilling metres above the River Dee. Whilst there, check out the Trevor Basin Visitor Centre which is open 10-4pm between March - October.

Next on the agenda is Wrexham Museum (SAT NAV - LL11 1RB) for a spot of horrible history, learn about the stories of Wrexham County Borough and its people from prehistory to the present day. Also a great place for lunch in the award winning courtyard café.

An afternoon exploring Xplore! (SAT NAV - LL13 8BG) – The only place in North Wales you will find live science shows, 65 hands-on interactive activities, science garden plus the crazy science shop.
