Jess Glynne to Play Wrexham's Racecourse Ground Next Summer!

Great news for Wrexham as chart topper Jess Glynne announces show at The Racecourse Ground on Friday 4th June 2021, with tickets going on sale at 9am next Friday 27th November.

One of the UK’s hottest artists, Jess Glynne, will bring her vibrant brand of pop to the Racecourse Ground music adding to the shows successfully staged there in recent years.

Tickets go on sale Friday 27th November 2020 at 9am and are available from Ticketmaster.

Jess will be gracing the airwaves again this Christmas as she Shares an exclusive cover of ‘This Christmas’ for Amazon’s Christmas Originals with a beautiful cover of Donny Hathaway’s ‘This Christmas’, recorded exclusively for Amazon Music. Jess’ soulful rendition features Grammy Award winning The Dap-Kings on horns, was produced by Knox Brown and mixed by Neal Pogue (Tyler The Creator’s ‘Igor’ and Outkast’s ‘Speakboxx’)..

When Jess looks at the statistics that have marked her sky-rocketing career so far, there is a look of mild disbelief on her face, as if this might have happened to someone else. I Cry When I Laugh is one of the defining British pop records of its era holding its place in the charts for 138 weeks and counting. It debuted at number 1, spawning 12million worldwide singles sales, 39 weeks on the UK top 10, 2.5billion Spotify streams, a sold out UK arena tour, Brit, MTV: EMA, Ivor Novello, MOBO, Q and Glamour award nominations.

Since then, she has released her chart-topping second studio album, Always In Between which went straight into the #1 spot, while continuing her run of hit singles with I'll Be There, a seventh top spot that secured Glynne the record for most #1 singles by a British female solo artist, then All I Am and Thursday.

The date is once again being promoted by current and three times Live UK Regional Promoter of the year Orchard Live. Pablo Janczur, director of Orchard Live said: “This is more good news for the Venue following the recent acquisition of Wrexham AFC by Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Jess is one of the biggest and hottest names in music and has had rave reviews for her outdoor shows. Wrexham has a treat in store, we know she puts on a great live show which will feature all her hits as well as new material. This is just what everyone needs Get ready to party Wrexham!!”

Jess Glynne will follow in the footsteps of the Stereophonics and Olly Murs who have all performed in the venue in previous years and will follow the rearranged Lionel Ritchie show which takes place in the same venue the night before.
