The Christmas Meeting on Friday 13 December is the final meeting of the year at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse and offers the perfect opportunity to start the weekend early and get into the festive spirit with the family. Gates open at 10.30am and seven national hunt races will take place across the afternoon.
The day will be in support of Save the Children and National Christmas Jumper Day and in the festive spirit, the racecourse will be relaxing the dress code, encouraging racegoers to join the Bangor team and sport a Christmas jumper.

Racegoers can donate to Save the Children on the day by scanning a QR code within their racecard, going online and visiting the team’s JustGiving page or, alternately, donating to the bucket collection hosted by representatives from Bangor-on-Dee’s parent company, Chester Race Company.
Donations will make the future brighter for children all around the world. Every pound raised will give children in the UK and around the globe the chance to grow up healthy and happy, so they can become who they want to be! Just £2 could pay for antibiotics for eight children suffering from pneumonia, one of the biggest killers of children, whilst £5 could provide a winter jacket for a child in Syria. If you wish to donate in advance of the raceday and show your support simply visit https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/CJD190035059
