    Award-winning local brewer Richard Lever has this week opened the Magic Dragon Tap house on Charles Street in town. Richard’s brewery is based at the nearby Plassey Holiday Park in Eyton, where his award winning Eyton Gold is produced alongside other brews including Ice Dragon and Eyton Bitter – plus Richard’s Pontcysyllte Ale which was bottled earlier this year to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct & Canal World Heritage Site.     Magic Dragon Brewing Bottled Beer Winners

    Magic Dragon Brewing (formally Plassey Ales) based at the Plassey Leisure Park, Eyton, Wrexham have won two awards at the Wales and West Regional Independent Beer Awards 2019!! Their Eyton Bitter was awarded Bronze for Bottle/Can Premium Bitters (4.5 to 6.4% abv) and the Eyton Gold won Gold in the Bottle/Can British Bitters (up to 4.4%abv) section. The awards are run by the Society of Independent Brewers prior to the opening of the popular SIBA Ludlow Beer Festival at Ludlow
