Minera Lead Mines
Minera Lead Mines is a fascinating heritage site that brings the industrial past of the Clywedog Valley to life. Once a busy centre of lead production, it now offers visitors the chance to explore old engine houses, mine workings and striking stone ruins that tell the story of the workers who shaped the landscape.
Trails wind through the site, with information boards and restored buildings that make the experience both educational and atmospheric. It is a favourite spot for families, walkers and anyone interested in local history, with open space to explore and scenic paths that link to other sites along the valley, including the beautiful Nant Mill.
