Dead Good Scran was born out of a lifelong love of food

Married duo Martin and Katie have dreamed of running their own eatery. After a turbulent time of events, an opportunity arose to turn the dream into reality. Out of that came Dead Good Scran.

The vision is simple: to bring proper flavour, fire and attitude to Wrexham. It’s about the food they eat themselves — quality, locally sourced produce, made with care, and a touch of smokehouse flair.

They’re building this from the ground up. It’s a leap into the unknown, with plenty still to learn, but their belief is strong: food should be exciting, satisfying and shared. This is only the beginning of the journey, and they can’t wait to welcome Wrexham along for the ride.
