About the event

If you would like to offer visiting vegans a lunch option which isn’t just the obligatory fake meat burger, then this is the workshop for you! Come and watch Catherine from Wildings Vegan Kitchen demonstrate a range of lunch ideas which can be enjoyed by vegans and non-vegans alike.

You’ll learn some easy freeze-ahead options and some handy side accompaniments, that will allow you with a few tweaks to expand your existing lunch menus to be more available for vegans. Homemade feta to top a Greek salad or a bespoke lentil and quinoa burger?

Come along and taste a few options!

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and of course, taste the afternoon's creations.

All recipes covered will be emailed to you after the workshop.

More about the Hosts:

Wildings Vegan Kitchen offers supper clubs, cookery classes, retreats and private chef services across North Wales.  Catherine (owner of Wildings Vegan Kitchen) has spent the past 40 years creating and enjoying plant-based food and has been working as a professional chef since 2019. She supplies several local food establishments with vegan options so is well-placed to train others in the hospitality industry.

Wildings Vegan Kitchen was established to meet the growing demand for home-cooked vegan food in North Wales.  Having been purely self-taught, Catherine then trained at Demuth's cookery school in Bath, UK to learn about more sophisticated plating techniques, flavourings and technically challenging dishes. With these workshops, Catherine will ensure that attendees are never stuck when they receive a booking enquiry or reservation from someone requesting plant-based or vegan food. The vegan community is one which shares news and reviews on numerous social media platforms, so we want businesses in Flintshire to be gaining a reputation for going that extra mile to look after vegan visitors!
