Tabernacl
Housed in Wrexham’s historic Burton's, this vibrant café is run by Hope Street Church and the Tabernacl team. Once an abandoned landmark, it’s now a thriving community hub built on three key principles: ethical and sustainable practice, genuine community, and exceptional coffee. Profits directly support the Church's local initiatives like toddler groups and homeless outreach, keeping its purpose as warm as its brews. The café’s house beans come from Wales’ own Hard Lines roastery. Alongside expertly crafted espresso and batch brew, visitors can enjoy house-baked treats (the much-loved cookie slab being a local favourite) and a fresh, seasonal food menu of waffles, toasties, salads, and baps. It’s a place where good coffee meets good purpose, right in the heart of Wrexham.
